A not so cool fair

Our neighbor down the street, Ann has girls Brookelyn and Kira's age. Needless to say, either her kids are at my house or my kids are at her house. (We live 4 houses apart on the same side of the road.) Friday she calls me and tells me that my girls were at her house and wanted to know if we wanted to go to the fair with them. She couldn't fit everyone in her car. (She has 4 kids). SO I said sure and we went. I was very disappointed. The Caribou County fair is much better then this one and it is even smaller. Both Ann and I talked about different things they could try to make it better but the kids enjoyed themselves. One thing that was there was gaint blow up castle and slide. Highland High School Bandwas having a fundraiser and you could drop your kids off for a little bit and then pick them back up. They were also having a yard sale just a few streets away, so Ann and I dropped off the kids and let them play and we went to the yard sale. I got 10 peices of clothing (name brand stuff) for a total of $5.00. It was awesome!!! They are in great shape and from stores that I don't even dare walk into. Here are some pics from the Fair. The kids had fun and that is what matters right?
Sam, Brookelyn, and Kira petting the horse. Kira was excited to see a horse more her size.

Grandpa J would be so proud. Brookelyn riding the tractor.

Kira riding Grandpa J's tractor. She said she was going to feed cows.

Playing one of the games that they had. Kira trying to make it.

Brookleyn also had to try. Whatever one does the other always has to follow.

Sam, Brookelyn, and Lizze trying to get a horse to come to them.
Rachel, Brookelyn, Lizze and Sam petting the horses. The horses really liked the attention.

They had a little petting zoo thing (I guess that is what they called it). George got a little up close and personal with the goats. It was funny to watch his face.

Brookelyn and Kira petting the goats.

Rachel was the first to pet them and from this face you would think she was doing something she wasn't suppose to.

Kira just being so darn cute.

Brookleyn posing for the camera. While we weer there a chicken laid an egg. It was very interesting and kids got a kick out of it.

George chilling out.

Kira, Sam, and Brookleyn making sure they look at all the chickens, rabbits, and roosters.

Brookelyn and Sam looking at the biggest geniune pig I have ever seen. G FORCE!! :)

Kira, Brookelyn and Lizze waiting for the firemen to throw candy. Brookelyn let them know that her dad also fought fires and his truck did not look anything like thiers. (I then explained that her dad was a forest fire fighter.)
All in all a fun day!

Sorry the fair wasn't fun. But kudos for your finds at the yard sale!
