Our New House

We moved into our new house two weeks ago yesterday. What an adventure. It took the movers 4.5 hours to pack our whole house, 2 hours to load it all up, and 2 hours to unload the boxes and place them into the rooms we told them to and set up the beds. It would have taken me more than that time just to pack. So here is our new house. (The pics aren't that great but you can always come visit and get a tour.)

Arik now only has a 10 min. commute instead of the hour commute he had for the past 7 months. We get to see him in daylight hours!!

This is the girls' room in the basement. It is the biggest room but can hold both beds (which we are getting ready to go to bunkbeds) and all thier toys. Here is the girls' closet. Yep, they have a walk in closet. Here is the guest bedroom downstairs next to the girls' room. That brown thing in the corner is a huge TAZ that we are holding for my brother til he gets off his mission.

The downstairs bathroom. It doesn't have a tub or shower yet but we will get to it slowly. The girls still have us help them so we are not too worried yet.

The laundry room. Sorry the pic is the wrong way. We had to get a new dryer because ours was gas and this house has no gas. (HEHE)

Our kitchen. I love love love it! The pantry is behind the white door. It is huge and really nice.

The dining roomish. It is not really its own room but it is nice not to have the kitchen table in the family room anymore. (We are going to be painting the red walls blue. To lighten things up.)

The upstairs bathroom, or main bath. We have so many bathrooms I don't even know what to do. It is nice when we have four kids over and they all have to go at the same time. It has a linen closet behind the door. It is huge and so nice.

This is an extra bedroom. We hope to someday use it as a nursrey but until then or maybe forever this is a mini den.

That is it. It is really nice and we are enjoying it. Only four houses down lives a family with girls the same ages as Brookelyn and Kira. They are nice and we have already had fun playing with them. The elementary school is two blocks away. It is very comfortable. This is where we are suppose to be.
