Kira

FYI: Another long post.

My Kira.  What can I say.  She is full of life and is all girl but then can turn it on and be a complete brute at times.  She loves being a big sister and plays really well with Aiden.  She will be 5 soon and is ready to ride her bike to school with Brookelyn.  Look out Kindergarten here she comes!! (in 3 months)

Kira graduated from Preschool this last week.  Here is pics from the night.

I am so pretty.
Mom, no more pictures, please!

Getting ready to sing a song.

Yep, my girlie.

Getting ready for more singing.

Little Bear from Goldilocks and the Three Bears.  She did great!

MaKynzee, as Goldilocks.

Not paying attention to Ms. Suzy.

Yeah, I did it!!

Kira with Anna. Anna was in the 3 year old class and is also in our ward.

My girlies!!  They are the greatest.

Me and my Kira.

Aiden so ready for it to be over.  Isn't Grandpa having fun?

Kira with Ms. Suzy.  She was awesome with Kira and helped her so much.
Yep, we get distracted earlier.
For Memorial Day our friends, the Hemmings, came to town and stayed the night, then left the boys while they made a run down to Salt Lake for a doctor's visit.

Here are some pictures of the kids.  Kira was singing the songs from all her Barbie movies and they just danced away.

MaKynzee, Tanner, Kira, and Brayden

My Kira is growing up way too fast.  She is on her way to Kindergarten and is so much fun.  She does not like the dark so when she is downstairs playing by herself she turns on every single light in every single room in the basement.  It is cute and frustrating all at the same time.

Kira has had a hard time with the couple weeks off I have had from school.   Mostly I was downstairs because I was grading papers or doing homework, but the last couple weeks I have had neither.  Here is a conversation we had.

Kira: "Mom, go down and do some homework."
Mom: "I don't have any, school is over for a few weeks."
Kira: "Mom, go grade papers then."
Mom: "I don't have any to grade class is over for a couple of weeks."
Kira: "Mom, you need to be doing homework or grading papers.  Please go down and sit at the computer."

I did go down and checked email, Facebook, and the blog. Good thing I am taking a summer class and teaching throughout the summer.

I love you, Kira!!

Aiden

FYI:  This post will be long.  There is so much to put in.

So a lot has changed in Aiden since I last posted.  The boy is huge.  At his year appointment, yep that's right my little man is 1 year old, he weighed 26 lbs and 29.5 inches long.

He used to do this.
Yep, I am cool.

Hi camera!
I will eat you.
Now all he does is this.  Everywhere.

Hi, I am a stud.

I am the happiest baby ever.

Hanging out at Kira's Preschool Graduation. (More on that in Kira's post)

My dad is so funny.

Mom I want you.

My sister had her gall bladder removed this past week and I watched her kids.  I was listening to music while cleaning the kitchen and Bowen and Aiden decided to join me.
Look at me dancing.

Shaking back and forth to the beat.

Here is Aiden at 1 year.
Here is Aiden at birth.

Bowen and Aiden right before Aiden left the hospital.
Here are Bowen (20 months) and Aiden (1 year)

I am so cute!!
We love to share.  :)

Aren't I cute?

Aiden is 1.  He had a tiny party and got very cool presents.  Below are pictures from the big day.
It plays music.
Look at me dancing to the music.

My couch and I am not sharing with anyone.

This is how Aiden looks about 98% of the time.  He really is a happy boy.

Eating my birthday lunch.  Chicken nuggets from McDs.

My cool cupcakes.
Yep the big 1!!

Trying it out.
Do I like this?
I think I do.

Bath is needed.

This is yummy!!
Of course we needed the Cars cupcake holders.

Waiting for Brookelyn's program to start.
Chilling with Grandma.
looking around at anyone but mom with the camera.

This is my stud.  He is no longer a baby and seemingly overnight turned into a little man.  He loves to walk around holding someone's hand or holding onto the furniture.  He sleeps 11-13 hours a night and just lays down and goes to sleep.  He quit is bottle much easier than his sisters.  He loves steak and pork chops and does not like hot dogs.  He only has two teeth but finds a way to eat whatever everyone else is.  He is such a joy and a great blessing to have in our lives.  We just love him so very much.
