So excited and the dentist (not related)

So Harry Potter is coming out next week. I found this background on my friend's blog and loved it so I added to mine. I am going to the midnight showing with my sister, sister-in-law, and brother. Marti, Brandee, and I started going to the midnight showing of the Twilight movies and then decided to do the Harry Potter movies. It is something fun that I can do with these girls. Others come and go with us but the three of us have been the consistent ones and the movies and the outings with them are some of the best times for me. So I thank them.

We all finally went to the dentist. We have had dental insurance for two years and final went. (Sorry Robyn I know your shaking your head reading this :)) Anyways, Arik went in the morning with Brookelyn and then I went in the afternoon with Kira. DO NOT go to the dentist while pregnant. It was so painful and the nurse felt so bad that she told me to come back in two weeks and she would finish once my gums healed a little bit. I am one of those girls that gets pregnancy gin. I don't know how to spell it but the infection on your gums.
Kira was looked at while I was getting looked at and Brookelyn went with her. The nurse (or whatever they are called) told me that they would do as much as possible but that little ones usually don't let them do a lot. Well, not Kira. With Brookelyn there she did everything, the xrays and the cleaning, the whole package. The dentist then told me that he wanted to use them as poster patients. Not just for 5 and 3 year olds but adults also. They never cried or whined and did everything that was asked of them. Yep, I was so proud to be their mom. They are so cute and good.

I will post Halloween pics soon. I know it is almost Thanksgiving.

My gums swell and bleed during pregnancy too...keep flossing though or you'll be stuck with a mouthful of cavities like I had last spring! Worst ever was having my filling fall out of my tooth the night before Thanksgiving!! Not only did it kill my thanksgiving holiday but they tried to fix it with as little painkiller as possible for the baby--OUCH!!!

Not fun. With my last pregnancy I had a root canal at the begging and the end. It was not fun at all. Glad that you had two little angels at the dentist. Spencer is that way. He does everything the dentist will tell him to do. Every dentist office that he has gone to loves him. Zachary on the other hand.... yeah not a fun process.
