It has been a long time since my last post. Things have been crazy. Arik has been gone on fires 5 out of the last eight weeks. He is currently gone again. I am happy that he was able to enjoy a weekend in Logan mountain biking with friends.
I have really enjoyed teaching thus far. My kids are pretty good and I am enjoying it much more than I thought. I found out that I am also going to be coaching the 7th grade girls basketball team. I am excited and a little scared but it will be a great learning experience.
The girls are growing faster and faster everyday. We are teaching Brookelyn to spell her name. She can draw a B and everywhere we go she points out all the B's, saying, "B is for Brookelyn." She also knows m for mom, d for dad, g for grandma, k for kira, and l for lukas. She is getting smarter and smarter everday.
Kira is just a cutie. She nows takes me to her crib when she is tired. She takes me to the kitchen for food and a drink. She is just as smart as her sister and is getting better at talking with her hands.
We miss all our friends. We have been either too busy or just unsuccessful at getting friends here. Good thing Arik and I like each others company.

I know how you feel. I am too exhausted at the end of the day to hang out with friends. I am glad you are enjoying teaching. One thing I love about it is that every day is different.
It sounds exciting to be a coach. I bet you will do such a good job! You will have to let us know how your team does!
