So much

I don't know where February went. We spent most of the month with one or more of us sick. Some how Arik avoided it all so it was just us girls but we haven't been that sick in a very long time.

I was able to go to Texas and spend a week with my family. My cousin got married in San Antonio and Brandee and I were able to go. Tyrel, my cousin, is three weeks older than Brandee and the three of us were unseparable. The next closest cousin is almost three years younger. So it was just the three of us for a long time. It was great to be there and finally see him get married. He married a great girl and I am so happy for them. It was also good to see my family. It had been 4 months since the last we saw them.

I went to the doctor this week and we set my c-section. The day is May 4th. A little less then 9 weeks. I can't believe how fast it is going. We are hoping for a boy but Arik has given up all hope and thinks that he will have a girl. My dad says since the baby is coming in May it will be a boy. See all the boys in my family (brother, dad, grandpa, great grandpa) were all born in may. We are hoping he is right.

I lost a lot of weight this month from being sick and so I didn't gain anything. The doctor said if I don't gain some this next time we will have to check on the baby. I am hoping that all will be well. I have gained a total of 16 pounds in 31 weeks. I am not sure if that is good or bad. I also have reached the stage where the baby has outgrown the room and my stomach now moves at will. It is weird and kind of freaks me out when I caught it with the corner of my eye or when it wakes me up in the middle of the night because my stomach jerks. It is so much fun.

In a few short weeks we will be welcoming Jorie Annette or Carl David (and we are going to call him David) to our family. Kira is getting excited and Brookelyn is morking off days. She is so ready to be a little mother.
